Olive Oil 68% Dark Chocolate - Solomon Islands

A single-origin 68% dark chocolate from Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, finished with 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil.

Growing up in Italy, olive oil was on everything, even dessert. Bread, a drizzle of oil and a piece of dark chocolate was the snack of my childhood. With this bar I wanted to bring that memory into chocolate.

We make our chocolate from scratch, grinding Solomon Islands cacao in small batches in our Elsternwick shop. We finish it with extra virgin olive oil from Clemente, an Italian family producer since 1895. The cacao gives deep, fruity notes. The oil adds a silky melt and a soft, peppery-green finish. Pure Italian comfort!
